getting there

Charter flights to Hurghada run from Gatwick and Manchester on Fridays only. The 5 hour flight is followed by a 20 minute transfer to the resort.

when to go

Egypt can be visited year around although it can be very hot (around 40c) in the mid summer months. Great in water but take care in the sun !

 

 

DAY ONE

Depart Heathrow for Cairo, overnight Marriott 5* B & B

DAY TWO & THREE

Time to get in your time capsule and transport yourself back 4000 years to the land of the Pharaohs, The Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo and the bustling market of Khan El Khaleli. Overnight Sofitel Sphinx 5* B & B

DAY FOUR

Fly to Aswan for 3 night 5* Nile Cruise. Evening Embarkation before visiting the Botanical Gardens by traditional Felucca. Overnight on board in Aswan

DAY FIVE

Visit of the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple. Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the double temples of Sobek and Horus the Elder. PM - Sail to Edfu and overnight in Edfu.

DAY SIX

AM visit the temple of Horus in Edfu and sail to Luxor. PM - arrive Luxor and overnight in Luxor.

AM breakfast and disembarkation, followed by visit of the temples of Karnak and Luxor, west bank of Luxor including Valley of the Kings, temple of Queen Hatshepshut, temple of Medinet Habu and the Collossi of Memnon. Overnight at Al Moudira Hotel - one of the most amazing hotels in the world.

DAY EIGHT - FOURTEEN

Land transfer to El Gouna and check into El Gouna Movenpick 5* hotel for 7 nights with breakfast including kite storage and boat cover. Full range of courses available at supplement if required.
